Publications

The RBV produces an Annual Report, which reports on the operations of the Bank, and the Bank’s annual statement of accounts certified by its Auditors.
Since June 1986 the RBV publishes a Quarterly Economic Review (QER). With this publication, the RBV endeavors to publish a comprehensive set of analytical data and commentary on national financial and economic trends, problems and prospects. The QER in particular describes recent monetary developments and monetary policy implemented by the RBV.

The RBV also publishes on a monthly basis the Financial and Economic News (FEN). The FEN briefly describes recent monetary developments and gives an overview of monetary, financial and economic news in Vanuatu and the Pacific Region.

In November 1999, the RBV published a booklet called ‘Tasks and Functions of the Reserve Bank of Vanuatu’. With the booklet the RBV aims to increase the understanding by the public of the Bank’s main tasks and functions and the way it carries these responsibilities out through, among other things, monetary policy and banking supervision.
