Vanuatu Central Securities Depository (VCSD)

The Vanuatu Central Securities Depository (VCSD) system is another in built system within the National Payment System. It offers a wide range of functions for the administration of public securities of the Reserve Bank of Vanuatu (RBV) and on behalf of the Vanuatu government.

The VCSD allows the administration of operations with government securities including;

• registration and settlement of the results of primary market auctions,
• electronic processing of secondary market operations,
• management of wide variety of payment events such as;
  • coupon payments 
  • Amortizations 
  • total redemption 
  • anticipated full redemption 
  • others
